Most standard residential projects—like sidewalks, patios, or driveways—can be completed in 1–3 days depending on size, site conditions, and weather. Larger or more complex jobs may take longer. After pouring, we recommend waiting at least 24–48 hours before walking on it, and 7 days before driving on it. Lastly, it takes new poured concrete to fully cure approximately 28 days.
Sealing protects your concrete from moisture, freeze-thaw cycles, stains, de-icing salts, and UV damage. It also enhances color and finish, especially for stamped or decorative concrete. We recommend sealing every 2–3 years for optimal protection.
Cracking is common due to natural shrinkage during curing, temperature changes, or ground movement. We minimize cracking by using control joints, proper reinforcement, and high-quality mix design—but some minor surface cracks can still occur and are usually cosmetic.
Polyurea coatings offer faster cure times (often same-day use), superior durability, and better resistance to chemicals, UV rays, and temperature changes compared to traditional epoxy. They bond more strongly to concrete, resist cracking and peeling, and last significantly longer—often over 15 years. With customizable slip-resistant finishes and minimal maintenance, polyurea is a smarter, longer-lasting solution for garage and high-traffic floor coatings.
When Should You Seal Concrete?
New concrete: After it has cured (typically 28 days).
Existing concrete: When it starts absorbing water easily or losing its sheen.
Resealing: Usually every 2–5 years, depending on exposure and sealer type.
